I loved this place little country town good food good prices

This place renews my belief that it is possible to get a heaping plate of southern hospitality. They pound their pork tenderloin by hand and bread fry it, then put some gravy on top with two fried eggs and fresh sliced home fries. Then they give you two biscuits the size of your fist to round off the meal. If that doesn't satisfy your first stomach, try their home made cherry apple pie... Nuff said.

This is a family friendly restaurant. The meals are home cooked and very delicious. They are very reasonably priced and always eager to meet new friends.

Family friendly just a friendly casual place with good food

The food was very good but I wish there was more of a variety of desserts especially pies. Some lemon meringue pie or banana cream pie or even apple would have been amazing.I had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and fried corn amazing food and very felling. I'm from Chicago and I would go back for a wonderful meal. Yes and the server's very friendly staff.

Looking for something besides what you see on billboards traveling down the interstate. This place may take you a little off of your path but in my opinion is worth it. Country cooking - meal vs price, this place by far the best I have come across. Friendly clean and next to it if you want can buy meats to load up your freezer.

Husband enjoyed his lunch ( pork tenderloin) so much, he ordered a chopped steak dinner to take home. He liked it even more.Good food, big portions.Only negative was waitresses did not have on masks or gloves.

Good old fashioned diner. Breakfast was awesome. Goetta is unbelievable.

My husband had the 2 piece cod dinner; he said the fish was very good. He also had fries (they were fresh out of the cooker) and cottage cheese. I had a double cheeseburger without the bun - very good, juicy. Service was very good. Workers were wearing masks, as required due to Covid19. Place was very clean. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful waitress named Heidi. I had the biscuit & gravy. I was disappointed as it was flat tasting. The sausage in the gravy didn't have much flavor & there were areas of the biscuit that was hard. However, the coffee was good. My granddaughter tried their blueberry pancake & it was superb!! She'll definitely get it again! I don't eat pancakes, but I had a bite of hers & I might order it the next time. Light & fluffy & a lot of blueberries. 1 thing everyone should know before stopping is they only take cash or checks. NO DEBIT OR CHARGE CARDS!!! They have daily lunch/dinner specials, but you need to call to find out as it changes. I would recommend going & enjoying 1 of their meals. Oh, I believe they allow smoking in the restaurant. You can smell the smoke & I saw an ashtray on a table. Not positive about the last statement, but with the smell & the ashtray, I would bet I'm right about it.

First time eating here and I was not disappointed. My mom and I both had a salad and fish. It was delicious! The portions were so large, I think we could have shared one meal. We will definitely be back!

We found this restaurant on google maps after a day of traveling. It was a good decision. The staff was friendly and treated us like family. Our food was good and I would recommend that you stop by and try them out.

I stopped in for a quick bite on the way home. First visit. I ordered the ribeye sandwich platter. Quite tasty with ample fries and slaw. Service was fast and friendly. Thanks guys!! Four stars.

I love going here. I had a friend meet me here that had never been before. We were waited on quickly, food came out fast and hot. Waitress was very attentive.

Local hometown place. The atmosphere was very comfortable and all of the old photos of people and places from Walton were very interesting. The service was welcoming and friendly but also fast and accurate. Our server was constantly checking on us and refilling coffee and drinks. The food was extremely well prepared and very delicious like home made. I can't wait to eat here again.

I really love family run diners and this is a great one! They have all of your favorites here! Whether you are in the mood for pan fried chicken or the terrific catfish dinner with fries and cole slaw or any number of other comfort food items, this is your place. The have a great breakfast and pies that defy the imagination! This place is always busy and happy with the bustle of hungry folks and first rate service! The place is spotlessly clean and the staff always friendly! As Always, Enjoy!

We stopped here on our way through for a family vacation and it his the spot perfectly. We sat on the porch and were able to watch several train ride by which our kids loved. The service was so inviting and the food was delicious.

Great Turkey Manhattan

I had a Swiss and mushroom burger with onion rings. The onion rings were frozen, minced onions cooked in a fryer, very disappointing for the $2.85 price. The burger was large tasted good with a great homegrown tomato. But the mushrooms were a gravy mix poured over the burger. Had to eat it with a knife and fork since the bottom bun was soaked. Definitely not worth the price.
